I am so excited to share this post with you all today! Like, giddy! For many months I’ve been working on my living room. I’ve shared some progress updates along the way, but today is the day. The big living room reveal! I’ve also got a very special announcement to share with you, so make sure you stick around to the end! This post is going to be pretty photo heavy, but I want you to see all the little details that went into decorating this space.
Living Room Reveal
You need to get the full impact of this transformation, so here is the before photo:
And here is what it looks like now:
We are so happy that this room now reflects our style and is more functional. It’s just more fun to be in because it’s now so light and bright, the colors are more soothing, and it feels amazing to have a finished space in our home.
Can I just pause and say it’s really hard to take pictures of white wallpaper? It’s kind of hard to tell, but the wallpaper is textured, and brings so much to the space in person.
The best photo I could get.
This room was months of planning, shopping, and waiting, but I’m so so happy with how it turned out. More than how it looks, it feels good to be in, a fact evidenced by how much more time we spend in here now. If you’re curious where I got anything for this space, I shared more details below.
Source List
A lot of items in this room were thrifted and up cycled, made by me, or are several years old. I’m including a list of items that I know are still available, and if I miss something that you have a question about feel free to ask about it in the comments!
