Favorite Patios for Drinks in KC
On a weekend during the summer, you can find us enjoying a drink at some of our favorite spots in Kansas City. Many of us at Collected Living love trying new restaurants and bars around our local area. We love to experience different types of ambiance, and of course trying out new drinks and food is always fun.
Over time, we have curated a list of our favorite places to lounge and taste test fabulous drinks. This summer we are seeking out casual patios where we can sit and talk and enjoy the scenery.
Mean Mule Distillery
If you are a tequila connoisseur, this is the place to go. The girls show up for the ever changing seasonal menu, and the guys go for the Gold tequila on the rocks.
The local Kansas City distillery has a cool, casual vibe with a southwestern flare. Located in the Crossroads, it’s prime people watching.
Lifted Spirits
The variety of drinks are so fun and colorful! Literally day dream about It Takes 2 to Mango, so good.
This bar has lots of open seating for a nice drink on a summer night.
If the weather allows, the distillery doors will open out onto the front area that has hightop seating. In a more quiet part of the city, we love the easy access to the crossroads.
We have brought home Lifted Spirits gin to make our own cocktails too! (Check out this craft cocktail recipe book.)
Ladoga Winery
Ladoga is a peaceful country winery that we love to visit in Smithville. This location is north of the river, which is convenient for those in the northland, but definitely worth the drive for those who are further away. The view is serene and is just the place to relax after a day at the office or on a weekend date. The view is only outshone by the wine selections.
Westport Cafe & Bar
We celebrated a team member’s birthday at this quaint French restaurant. We instantly fell for the classic atmosphere with the black and white checkered flooring and red velvet drapes. The presentation is everything on these gourmet dishes, but we keep showing up for the flavor.
Westport cafe is known mostly for their beautiful crafted cocktails and fabulous brunch menu.
The patio is a great extension of the restaurant where customers can enjoy the bustling of the Westport area. We are looking forward to spending a few more nights there before the summer is over.
Pirtle Winery
This is our favorite winery located in Weston. We have spent much time there after our company meetings and on our weekend trips up to the area. They have a few different spaces to sit and sip wine at including their tasting room, deck, and garden.
Pirtle has a variety of wines we enjoy trying, but our favorites are the Alhambra, the Vignole, and on a really hot day, the wine slushes. Their picnic baskets filled with local cheeses, breads, and fruit are also a hit when we come and do a tasting. Whenever we visit Weston, we make sure this is on the list to visit!
We hope that the weather cooperates this weekend so that you can check out some of our favorite patios for drinks in KC!
Be Inspired,
Shandy and Abby
