Inspiration is everywhere, and often inspiration for the best interiors comes from outside the interior design world.  I love sharing things that capture my attention with you, design related or just things that make me think about how I could use something beautiful to influence a design I’m working.  Here’s what’s been inspiring me lately.

Designer Lighting

It doesn’t make it into every design, but designer lighting is ALWAYS worth the splurge.  Lighting is one of just a few categories, in my opinion, that can really take a room next level.  And it’s very hard to find imitations that give the same effect.

Timeless Movie Stars

There is something so effortlessly chic about Catherine Deneuve.

Neutral Base, Interesting Accessories

Jeans, and essentially a white t-shirt (but elevated), with really beautiful accessories.  This is how I like to do interiors to!

Camel Coats

Wrap, trench, peacoat, they’re all good.  These will never go out of style.

Interior Design Books

I adore how Paloma Contreras mixes traditional, modern and color.

Blue and White

Talk about timeless.  These beauties have been around for centuries.

Art Deco Vibes

These bar stools feel like a modern nod to the curved lines of the Art Deco movement.
